How To Help

How To Help

It takes a community to rebuild and it starts with you.

The Insurance Sanctuary Foundation runs entirely on donated time, expertise, and funding. We provide no cost services to survivors. What we do is only possible because people and organizations choose to donate to make it possible.

Here’s how you can be part of this mission.

How To Help

Make a financial contribution

Your donation directly funds no-cost advocacy for wildfire and natural disaster survivors in California. Every dollar goes toward the expertise, time, and resources it takes to assist with appealing a denied, delayed, or underpaid claim.

The Insurance Sanctuary Foundation is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations are tax deductible.

More Ways To Help

Not everyone can give money and that’s okay.

Refer a survivor

Do you know someone whose wildfire or disaster claim has been denied, delayed, or underpaid? Referring them to The Insurance Sanctuary Foundation could be the most valuable thing you do for them. Our advocacy is no-cost but it requires their active participation.

Spread the word

The survivors who need The Insurance Sanctuary Foundation are often the ones who have never heard of us. Share our work with your network, especially real estate professionals, community organizations, and anyone connected to California wildfire-affected areas.

Volunteer your expertise

Are you a licensed insurance professional, attorney, public adjuster, or claims specialist? The Insurance Sanctuary Foundation welcomes pro bono volunteers who want to put their expertise to work for survivors. Your knowledge is exactly what the people we serve need most.

Partner with us

Is your organization — a real estate association, community group, faith community, or employer — looking for a mission-aligned nonprofit partner? The Insurance Sanctuary Foundation welcomes partnerships that expand our reach into communities that need us most.

“Justice doesn’t have a deductible – but it does have a cost. You can help us cover it.”
