Origins Of Nate Kamp Studios
Nate Kamp began his musical journey on the piano at age four, continuing until age eight, when he gravitated toward drums to prepare for school bands. Between ten and eighteen, he performed in middle and high school ensembles, practicing rigorously on his own. College initially drew him toward engineering, but he soon realized his true focus was metal drumming, a craft he pursued with determination.
Years of playing in numerous bands with limited success led Nate to explore audio production, a field that harmonized his technical curiosity with creative drive. He earned an audio engineering degree and trained under Andrew Waltman at Moredoor Studios, mastering the art of professional recording and production.

We’d been recording demos for months, but nothing sounded right. Nate listened to our frustrations, suggested structural changes, and brought the raw energy of our live performances into the recordings. The result felt alive—something we’d never captured before.
